Kepler was chosen for its calligraphic detailing that lends it warmth and energy. The book is grounded in the structured typeface for the body text.

Where Reenie Beanie is a ball-point pend handwriting, that creates a playful and loose look. Matching the tone and look of the illustrations.

Color Palette

Reflects the colors present when cooking, while creating a vibrant and boldness. Matching the books. illustrations and tone.

Reflecting the hand-drawn illustration style seen throughout the book. Drawn in a way that helps create white space while balancing the overall layout. The style is almost sketch-like, showing the variation in line weight. Helping it feel more done by hand and almost imperfect. In a similar way so is the art of cooking, each showing the crafts behind the final product.

This cover shows a table scene of people gathered around for a meal. Showing the back is a continuation of that table from the front side of the cover.

The recipes display the food through illustrations between both pages. There is a more structured layout for the recipes page for their readability. Prioritizing the experience of the user while cooking.
